1972 Penton
Steel Tanker
This bike is a very early Penton 125 six day Steel Tankers. The bike was perfectly restored by master
Penton craftsman Larry "good dirt" Good. Every part of this bike is either NOS or perfectly
restored. Matt Hilgenberg built the wheelset and the tank was painted by Ric Tipton, who has done a number
of our bikes. The 3 color tank is very difficult to paint and stripe correctly. The bike has a very
early V1558 number on the frame and the engine is steel barrel Sachs 5A engine.
This bike is a true museum piece work of art. The bike has had no fluids in it since its restoration.
Please notice the quality of the detail work. This bike is attribute to John Penton and his bikes. ENJOY!
