What a rare and great bike. In 1976 Al Baker was located adjacent to the Mugen company and provided race support on the Honda bikes. Al Baker and Mugen didn't think there was a reason they could not produce the ultimate thumper. They took a XL 250 and put on a Poweroll 360 kit. Mugen built the top end and the megaphone pipe. Al Baker set up the oil cooler and suspension system. Years later Rick Doughty did a full restoration on the bike for Cortez Lawrence who provided the bike to PGM. Before we obtained the bike we spoke to Cliff White of American Honda and he was aware of this bike and encouraged us to obtain the bike as a fitting tribute to Al Bakers vision.
