1980 Yamaha HL500
Even the early HL500 is still often called "the Aberg Yamaha", referring to Brent Aberg the Husqvarna star who rode the HL500 to a win in Luxembourg in late 1978. But the 1975 HL500 was born from a custom Sten Lundin build and shook up dirt racing when it was introduced.This 1980 bike was owned by Jessee Buckley, WA and he did a complete restoration on it. As you can tell he made it a perfect show queen. The one year wait to get it back was worth every minute.
