This bike started as a barn find in Paradise, CA. The engine was sent to John Kovalcik in Phoenix and he rebuilt the engine from scratch with all new NOS parts. Youch, did it get pricy. We are lucky Paul Stannard of Strictly Hodaka likes us. Paul provided us a very hard to get 26mm Mikuni for the bike as well. At the time John was doing this Super Rat engine he was doing 4 other Hodaka engines for our other project. Thats a lot of Hodaka engines being made shiny and new. The balance of the bike was done by Bill Cappel with painting by Dave Stonestreet in Klamath Falls Oregon.

This was originally going to be a racer but as the project reached its conclusion it became way to nice to race. So it will be added to the collection as another museum piece.
